Property Description

ABSOLUTE BEACH FRONT. Bonny Hill's patrolled Rainbow Beach, surf break, children's playground and unleashed dog beach straight across the road. Put on your cosies and off you go! Ocean views throughout. One of three original beach cottages, and last one standing! Received TLC and now modern inside. Decorated in style. Free WIFI, Aircon in lounge, Nespresso coffee machine. Pet friendly on request, fully enclosed back yard, please inform us about your pet. Space for boats and caravans. Plenty of parking space.

LAYOUT AND BEDDING
Open plan living, all single level, access to the cottage is via a front ramp, 2 steps and backdoor with 3 steps.
Two bedrooms, 4 beds, sleeps 4-6 people. Master bedroom with queen bed. Second bedroom queen bed and single bunk bed. One bathroom inside with shower, vanity, toilet. A second toilet is located outside next to the laundry building. Second shower (older style hence not counted as proper shower, yet fully functional) inside the laundry building.

THE SPACE
Just the cutest cottage with lots of wall art from local artists, surf memorabilia and historic Bonny hills shots. Beds are made with fresh high quality linen. Open plan living with kitchen island. Large dining table. Relaxing lounge. Ocean views from almost everywhere. Plenty of outdoor space on the covered front balcony featuring outdoor dining and a hooded gas BBQ. Pick some fresh herbs from the back patio. The cottage was used from the 1950's onwards by city and inland folk for holidays, was only reachable by sand path back then!

PARKING / GARAGE
Guests have access to the whole property except for the garage which is used by owners for storage and not big enough for most cars. Guests are welcome to use the garage to store surf boards, just let us know.
Please park your card on the driveway, on the street (free parking) or across the road, plenty of options!

PET FRIENDLY on request
Furry friends are welcome. Ideally outside dogs or well trained smaller inside dogs. Pets to be kept off furniture and beds, at night pets can sleep inside at back hallway or in the laundry. Please just chat to us about your needs and kindly inform us about the type of pet. Thank you. The side yard and back patio are fully enclosed. Dog bowls are provided.
The dog friendly beach is straight across the road on the left side of the creek.

Security Deposit

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 200.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival incur an admin fee of $100 and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites.*
  • Cancellations between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus a $100 admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are generally not permitted and incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a $200 admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date, and in genuine cases waive all cancellation fees or apply the $100-$200 rule. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks and in that case we will apply our standard rules.
