Property Description


This holiday home is located at 292 Hastings River Drive near the corner of Tuffins Lane. It has views over the river in the front and a rural setting at the back stretching as far as the eye can see. Watch the sun set over the paddocks together the wallabies. Just 2 minutes drive to the airport and 5 minutes drive to the heart of town, Aldi supermarket 2 minutes drive. Iconic Whalebone wharf restaurant and Riverview cafe/bistro are straight across the road. Free WIFI. Aircon in lounge room


Walk to the sports fields footy, tennis just 200 meters way, jump on the Boundary ferry to go 4WD towards Point Plomer and explore the Northern Side beaches of Port Macquarie. A fisherman's delight, just walk across the street and cast out. Or cheat and buy fresh fish and oysters across the road. You'll never come home empty handed

Simply set up a game of footy, soccer and cricket in the back yard. You can have your own family tournament

Large outdoor deck with BBQ in the back in a rural setting overlooking the paddocks. Please note back yard is not fenced. Part of the 28 acres are cattle grounds, e.g. not in use as backyard play area. Usable back yard mowed section is about 30 meters long by 10 meters wide.
The old stock yard is a photographers delight.


Lots of space for boats, trailers, caravans. Easy circle driveway to get in and out of the property.

Pets (dogs, birds, no cats please) are allowed with pre-approval from the manager, please advise us of age and type of pet. We ask to keep pets off the beds and lounge please.

During COVID-19 presence guest numbers will be limited to 10 guests maximum for guests to adhere to social distancing rules
Your beds are spread with fresh linen and bath towels, hand towels, face washers etc. are provided also. It's all ready to go, just rock up and enjoy yourselves. The key will be left onsite in a lockbox for you, we will let you know the code a few days before arrival.
Please bring your own beach towels.

How to reach the property

From Sydney/South and Brisbane: take the M1 towards Newcastle, Taree and Brisbane. OPTION 1 Drive til you see Port Macquarie / Hastings River Drive Airport exit, don't take the main Port Macquarie exit. Coming from the South the airport/Hastings River Drive exit is one further after you pass Express Way Spares on your left and Cassegrain winery on your right....please note with the new highway just opened you have to go over the bridge and take the round about to Hastings River Drive and go back on yourself. Follow Hastings River Drive, when you see the oyster farm sign on the left slow down and take a right into Tuffins Lane to make a small U-turn, the driveway is just on your left, a gravel path.
OPTION 2 from Sydney/South: Follow "Cassegrain Winery" signs and take the exit at Express way spares on the left. Keep following the winery signs, you cross over the highway and then you turn left onto the old highway. You pass the winery on your right hand side, keep going, then take a right into Hastings River Drive/Airport.
FollowHastings River Drive, when you see the oyster farm sign on the left slow down and take a right into Tuffins Lane to make a small U-turn, the driveway is just on your left, a gravel path.

Please park on the driveway, in front of the house or on the field on the side of the house. Please do not park on neighbour's properties, thank you!

Security Deposit

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy


We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival incur an admin fee of $100 and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites.*
  • Cancellations between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus a $100 admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are generally not permitted and incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a $200 admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb,, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date, and in genuine cases waive all cancellation fees or apply the $100-$200 rule. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks and in that case we will apply our standard rules.


When booking with us you agree to our house rules. Common sense applies i.e. keep the property tidy upon departure, notify us of any damages, excess (cleaning) charges may apply when rules are not met.
