Unspoiled frontier, old pioneer country

One of the last few pockets of NSW coastline and lush green hinterland that is underdeveloped.
More and more travellers are discovering this area and many of them loved the area so much that they decided to move here! Once you visit, you can understand why.
The area has always been a booming traders town, with pioneers in the timber trade around Wauchope, which was the centre of the area in the 1800’s. The centre of the area moved to Port Macquarie, one of the first convict settlements. You can still see gaol point on the top of town beach, they would have had the best views overlooking the ocean and Town Beach surf break.
